Restorative Ensuite

Improving aesthetic appeal and incorporating additional storage was the goal met for this gorgeous little project.
Simplicity doesn’t have to mean boring! Taking the time to select the right combinations of fittings, materials and colours for product and tile choices is necessary to elevate simple design elements.

Chrome fittings and slimline navy fitted furniture help create a sleek, contemporary look whilst allowing the tiles to truly be a feature. Continuing the pattern from the wall to across the floor is an unexpected aspect that streamlines the eye and adds interest. Using an in-recess shower screen makes the best use of space and reflects light to make this ensuite feel homely but smart.

The warm tones of the tiles and light painted towel radiator from Zehnder give a softness to the otherwise cool palette. Half-height tiling can give a softer look, as well as offering the potential for making a different statement in the future with a new paint colour. Ambience is created with subtle illumination from the mirrored cabinet with mirrored sides to add an extra touch of luxury.

You can’t go wrong with calming tones of blue and green in a bathroom to create the perfect mood to reset.  Mixing deep and light tones and subtly varying the finishes creates a look that feels unfussy yet charming at the same time.
